We learned “the basics” in class on Thursday. 2+ hours of learning about aperture, shutter speed, and the like. It was…well, painful. Our assignment this week consisted of 17 photos that applied the basic principles we’ve learned so far. Nothing major, nothing too challenging except for the lack of running water thanks to the cold and the cold itself. Oh and panning. I’m not very good at it! Luckily I didn’t have to spend the entire time staring at leaves.

Anyway, it’s 5AM and I’ve just finished compiling all of the shots. I’m pretty sure I spend more time roaming Ithaca taking photos for this class (and [We learned “the basics” in class on Thursday. 2+ hours of learning about aperture, shutter speed, and the like. It’s due at noon tomorrow, so I guess I can get a solid…5 hours of sleep in. Hey that’s not so bad after all.

OK, I’m obviously in no condition to go into detail about these photos so just enjoy the slideshow. My favorites are the first one with the water droplet, the backlit one of the wooden figure, and the portrait. G’nite!
